In February 1919,Mildred Early Murray lived at San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Also living in the house were Constance Murray Strobel. The researcher was given a hymnal of her grandmother Constance's by her mother. It was noted on the inside cover the date of Feb 1919 and San Antonio, Texas, and Constance Strobel's name.
Constance Murray Strobel married Watkins Leigh Ribble, son of George Wallace Ribble Sr and Charlotte Pattie Old, on 10 June 1927 at Charlottesville, Virginia. She was 21 at the time. Her married name was Constance Murray Strobel Ribble. Constance Murray Strobel and Watkins Leigh Ribble were passengers on the SS American Legion sailing from Santos,Brazil and arriving at the Port of New York, NY on 4 Jun 1929. They were listed as Watkins Leigh Ribble, age 26, born in Brazil on 10 Dec 1902 (Father American Citizen), Constance Strobel Ribble, age 23, born in Oakland California on 4 Jul 1904, and Margaret Murray Ribble, age 6 weeks, born in Porto Alegre, Brazil on 5 Apr 1929 (Father American Citizen). They were headed to 2014 Berkley Ave, Bessemer, Alabama on 21 May 1929.
Constance Murray Strobel appeared in the 1930 census as the wife of Watkins Leigh Ribble Standardsville, Greene County, Virginia, on 15 April 1930. She was listed as Constance M Ribble, age 24, married. She was 21 when she first married. She was born in California. Her father was born in Germany and her mother, in Kentucky.2
When she was 25, her mother, Mildred Early Murray Strobel, died on 7 February 1931 at Standardsville, Greene County, Virginia, at age 60. Constance Murray Strobel also appeared in a news article about their wedding at Danville, Virginia, on 27 April 1956 with John Robert Chappell III and Pattie Old Ribble.3

Her sister, Marion Charlton Brand, died in June 1970 at Alexandria, Virginia, at age 75.6 Constance Murray Strobel wrote her last will on 27 September 1970.
Constance Murray Strobel Ribble died on 26 January 1972 at Richmond, Virginia, at age 66.

Constance Murray Ribble, 66, wife of the retired archdeacon of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, the Venerable W. Leigh Ribble, died yesterday of cancer in a Richmond hospital. She lived at 3303 Hanover Ave., in Richmond.
A native of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Ribble lived in the Washington area from 1935 to 1945 when her husband was rector of the Falls Church Episcopal Church.
She and her husband moved to Richmond in 1945 when he became rector of the Grace and Holy Trinity Church there. He was rector until 1962 when he became archdeacon. He retired in 1968.
Actively engaged in the missionary work of the Protestant Episcopal Church, Mrs. Ribble served a tour of duty in the Blue Ridge Industrial School, Dyke, Va., and the missionary district of Brazil.
Mrs. Ribble was a member of the board of directors and treasurer of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and had been elected to the roll of honor of that organization for distinquished service.
She was was a member of the Woman's Club of Richmond and served as a member of its board of governors; the United Daughters of the Confederacy; the Order of the Crown; the Order of First Families of Virginia, and the National Society of the Daughters of the Barons of Runnymede.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Ribble is survived by three children, Mrs. Leo Thomas Caruthers of Raleigh, NC, Mrs. John R Chappell III of Quezon City in the Philippines, and Watkins Leigh Ribble Jr. of Alexandria, and nine grandchildren.

Dr. Ribble was rector of Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church from 1945 until 1962 and archdeacon of the diocese of Virginia from 1962 until 1970 when he retired.
Mrs. Ribble had been active in mission work of the Protestant Episcopal Church. She had served with her husband in the missionary districts of Brazil and the arceaconry of the Blue Ridge. She also served at the Blue Ridge Industrial School, Dyke, Va.
Mrs. Ribble was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and had served as diocesan chairman of the educational program of the Women's Auxilary and diocesan chairman of altar guilds.

I, Constance Murray Ribble of Richmond, VA, do hereby make, publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament.
My executer shall pay my debts and taxes.
I give, devise and bequeath my entire estate of whatever kind and wheresoever the same may be located, real and personal, to my beloved husband, W. Leigh Ribble, if he survives me.
It is my intention by a codicil or memo for the distribution of certain items of tangible personal property which I trust my children will honor and comply with.
My executer shall pay my debts and taxes.
