Edward Finch Garthright Sr left a will 15 May 1885 on 15 May 1885. Mentioned in the county documents were Elizabeth T. Adkins, his granddaughter, by his daughter Elizabeth Atkins. Mrs. E Nobles received $19.01.³

Elizabeth T. Adkins appeared in the 1900 census as the wife of Edward Mortimor Noble 529 24th Street, Richmond, Virginia, 2 June 1900. She was listed as Eliz E Noble, age 44, married, born Dec 1855 in Virginia. She was 30 when she married. She had had 5 children, with 4 still living.⁴

Elizabeth T. Adkins appeared in the 1910 census as the wife of Edward Mortimor Noble on 20 April 1910 in 603 23rd Street, Richmond, Virginia. She was listed as Elizabeth Noble, age 58, married, born in Virginia. She had been married 38 years. She had had 5 children, with 4 still living. No occupation.⁵

Elizabeth T. Adkins appeared in the 1920 census as the wife of Edward Mortimor Noble on 1920 in 603 North 23rd St, Richmond, Virginia. She was listed as Eliz S Noble, age 68, married, born in Virginia. Her occupation was domestic housekeeper.⁶

When she was 70, her husband, Edward Mortimor Noble, died in October 1920 at Richmond, Virginia, at age 69.
