James Shelton Horne
James Shelton Horne was born on 14 March 1957 at Petersburg, Virginia.1 He is the son of Benjamin Thomas (Hope) Horne Jr and Hannah Ruth Lindamood. James Shelton Horne was also known as Jim Horne. He witnessed the death of Estelle Teresa Pedneau Prince on 29 November 1964 at Virginia . He visited her in the hospital when she was dying.2

When he was 13, his father, Benjamin Thomas (Hope) Horne Jr, died on 30 January 1971 at Jarratt, Greensville County, Virginia, at age 51 of a massive heart attack in his living room at home.3

When he was 40, his mother, Hannah Ruth Lindamood Horne, died on 11 September 1997 at Greensville County Hospital, Emporia, Virginia, at age 76 due to cancer.4 As of 1999, James Shelton Horne lived at 3403 Ellwood Avenue, Richmond, Virginia, 23221.5 He was described as 6' 1" tall and 185 pounds in 1999.5

James Shelton Horne married Constance Murray Chappell, daughter of John Robert Chappell III and Pattie Old Ribble, on 20 May 2000 at Edgar Allen Poe Museum, Main St, Richmond, Virginia. He was 43 at the time.5
